"Ingredients? I've got a still set up in my hotel bedroom with the windows wide open to let out the fumes. Fucking works though. Back home I make my own vodka so I thought why the hell not do it here in LA too? No idea about the laws though. Fuck them."
You still didn't answer Isamu, Ivar. The ingredients.
"Your floor is vibrating? Fucking epic. I added some weird herbs I picked from here in the hotel garden. Strong vodka---around five bottles."
“Weird herbs. Honestly…” Isamu would have shaken his head, but it was spinning in a very odd way. It was not easy to type, but he managed.
“I suppose I should count my blessings that it is something natural, rather than something synthetic - methylenedioxymethamphetamine or one of the many alternative entactogens - but do you have any idea what it was that you picked? Or its toxicity?!”
"Yes, weird herbs. I do not know what they are called in your language. They smelt good and I added them to my brew. The booze tasted good when I tasted it last."
Ivar meaning when he tasted the fresh batch back in his hotel bedroom where the still was currently bubbling away. As for the alcohol content? That was questionable. Perhaps well over the 40% usual safety standard for most spirits.
"It is all natural so you don't need to worry. What the fuck is that word?"
The Swede had no idea so just shrugged. Was the booze making the bloke babble nonsense? It would seem so.
No, the brainiac was not babbling nonsense. Tactile hallucinations about a vibrating floor, sure. But not babbling nonsense. (This was how he always talked.)
“Methylenedioxymethamphetamine. Perhaps more commonly known by the abbreviation MDMA.” He scoffed.
“But just because something is natural does not make it safe for human consumption. Belladonna Is natural, and it can paralyze the heart. White snakeroot is natural, but drinking the milk from a cow that grazed on it is enough to poison someone.”
Sorry, Isamu but Ivar isn't as technically minded as you. He also doesn't speak as good English as some of the band members so some words might just fly over his blond head. Being drunk also doesn't help when trying to understand long complicated words. The drummer just frowned.
"MDMA? I think you are meaning E? Ecstasy?"
This is what he meant? Ivar knew of the herbs Isamu was describing and nodded. He might be a drunk but he knew not to pick those. He wanted to make a strong load of booze not outright poison which could hurt people.
"I know not to pick the bad herbs. But you are not being ill right now are you?"
“Honestly, ‘street names’ of drugs have very little meaning anymore with such questionable levels of purity, especially around synthetic club drugs - I have read multiple studies on it.” He added, before the question of personal experience could be raised. No, he hadn’t done any drugs like that. “But yes, I mean ecstasy.”
Isamu rolled his eyes.
“Are you intoxicated? I called you because I am currently experiencing tactile hallucinations of my floor vibrating. This is not normal. And your homemade beverage is the last thing that I consumed before returning to my room.”
"Everyone is drunk right now. They've all been at my booze but they haven't experienced what you're saying about the floor vibrating. That's fucking weird. Maybe you got the end of the batch and the herb concentration is higher?"
Ivar was trying to think why it would effect Isamu worse than how it's affecting everyone else. Unless they too would start hallucinating too? Fuck knew. The Swede was almost resistant to his own gut rot now so wasn't nearly as drunk as some of the others currently hanging out in his hotel room. Fredrik was on the floor giggling with Hjalmar and Sven was just laughing with Ulrik.
"Sleep it off. It's the best advice I can give you."

This was his observation so far.
